The ART DECO era
The Jazz age, the Roaring 20's and Swinging 30's fans and aficionados.
Between the two Great Wars which so dominate the 20th. Century there developed an era of style, with it own form of Art, in Music, in Clothing, in Architecture, that it influence still today captivates us, inspires us.
ART DECO was original, and it was not static, it form suggest a positive out look on the future, of flowing lines, of movement.
The writings of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s the book, “the Great Gatsby”, George Gershwin's music like “Rhapsodyin Blue”, Fritz Lang's movie “Metropolis”, William Van Alen's the Chrysler Building, the Zeppelin Company's mighty airship, D-LZ127 Der Graf Zeppelin, to name just a few.
